Singing Coach Unlimited Detailed Review

This program is aimed specifically at beginners to intermediate level singers. The concept behind it is to introduce a levl of fun in learning how to improve your singing voice. This is done through the use of animated characters which help users enjoy the practical aspect of learning how to sing better.

Compared to another software based product, see Singorama Review, Singing Coach does not have any detailed documentation to help with the vocal exercises which is a drawback. The software has a series of in-built exercises which you follow, but they still lacked some detailed explanations which a good workbook could have covered.

As mentioned before the program contains a series of funny characters which can help make the learning process more fun in learning how to sing better. However, although this may be enjoyable at first, and a treat for much younger users of the software our reviewers did find the novelty did wear off after a while. Especially as the characters would go through a long dialogue before the start of each exercise. And you can't shut them off!

Another drawback of software based vocal programs is that they can slow down your computer if it isn't powerful enough. So you need to make sure you look at the recommended minimum PC spec. as defined by the software makers. PLUS it doesn't operate on MAC computers which is another issue.

Overall it does provide users with the basics to vocal training. Covering basic singing concepts, proper warm up routines and correct techniques for singing.
It also has some clever elements where you record your highest and lowest notes and it will then provide exercises and songs which fit your range.

Conclusion
For us the Singing Coach Unlimited is great for those who are on a tighter budget and who are either just trying to learn the basics of singing or who is quite young. This really isn't for truly serious singers but does provide users with a fun and interactive way to get to grips with learning how to prepare your voice for singing.
